It is not super common for online brokerage firms to offer a welcome bonus to new trades on the site. It’s not impossible, you just don’t see it all that often. This is why we were so pleased to find a welcome bonus when conducting our Easy Markets review.
New users who create an account on the site can claim a bonus within three categories. If you make a first deposit between $100 – $200 you receive a 30% matched bonus which means you receive up to $60 from Easy Markets Australia. If you deposit between $200 – $1,000 you receive a 50% matched bonus up to a maximum of $500. And lastly, if you deposit between $1,001 – $5,000 you will receive a 40% matched deposit bonus up to a maximum of $2,000.
We were really excited to see that Easy Markets Australia was offering a welcome bonus for new traders as it is a great way to kickstart your johnny on the platform. Check out our OctaFX review to see if there are other exciting brokers offers out there.
For the most part, we found the Easy Markets Australia platform to well put together. The colour scheme is easy on the eyes which makes reading the headings and text much easier on the white backdrop. The actual navigability of the site is excellent as you can find everything that is available to you at the top of the homepage with the drop-down menus. And if you didn’t find what you were looking for there, you can find even more information at the footer of the homepage.
More so than the navigability of the platform, we also enjoyed the fact that there were hardly any waiting times when you switched between pages. There was a minor delay when you accessed the MetaTrader 4 trading platform but it was hardly anything that is going to harshly affect our Easy Markets rating.
Our Easy Markets review found that there are currently three different account types for new years to choose from. Although you can upgrade to a different account should you already have an account with Easy Markets Australia? These accounts include a standard trading account, a professional account and a VIP account.
The account that most of you will likely use is the standard trading account. The standard trading account has a minimum deposit of $200 and maximum leverage of 30:1. Aside from that, you will have access to all of the trading instruments and trading platforms that are available on the site.
The major differences with the premium account come in more so with the access to lower average fixed spreads. For example, the average fixed spread for AUD/USD on a standard account is 2.2 pips where the fixed average spread for the same currency pair on a premium account is 2 pips. If you are using a VIP account your fixed average spread for AUD/USD is a staggering 1.2 pips.
The accounts do still share many commonalities. For one, you want to be charged commissions irrespective of what account you use. All the accounts are capped at the same leverage and have the same minimum trade sizes. You can check out the accounts page on the Easy Markets Australia website for a clear view of what each account offers you.
This is an area where we have to give Easy Markets Australia major props. Not only because the fees are fair but because the broker is wholly transparent with what the fees on the platform are. You’ll sometimes find that brokers try to make this information fairly difficult to get hold of.
This couldn’t be further from the case with Easy Markets Australia as their pricing and fees section provides you with a clearly defined table showing you all of the fixed spreads for commodities, options, indices, forex, cryptocurrencies, metals and shares. You can see exactly what your spread costs are per trade or contract size. And to top off what are already very good low average fixed spreads, you won’t be charged any commission on your trades either.
We can’t praise Easy Markets Australia enough for their approach to pricing and fees and their clear layout of the numbers. To see what we mean, compare. the pricing and fees with our Markets review or our AxiTrader review
If you are going to be using Easy Markets Australia every day then you need to know that the broker offers you quality trading platforms to conduct your strategies with. Luckily, our Easy Markets review found that the broker makes the legendary MetaTrader 4 and their very own Easy Markets Australia platform available.
We have written about the quality of MetaTrader 4 time and time again and for good reason. The trading platform provides you with a base of operations that can take your trading endeavours to the next level. With exceptional charting tools, detailed analytics and access to all of the trading instruments that Easy Markets Australia provide you’ll be putting together successful trades in no time at all.
If you want to use another trading platform in addition to MetaTrader 4 then you’ll find that the Easy Markets Australia trading platform is a worthy addition to your trading tools. The Easy Markets Australia platform is a versatile platform that provides traders with access to useful tools like the Inside Viewer feature which lets you take a look at what percentage of other traders are buying/selling a certain trading instrument. You can even use the Freeze Rate feature when the markets are moving too quickly so that you can place a trade at the point that you initially would have liked to enter your position.

Now that we know there are some excellent trading platforms available with exciting features you will need to know how you can fund your Easy Markets Australia account so that you can use them. So, how can you fund your Easy Markets Australia account?
Very easily in fact as the broker allows you to choose from a number of different payment methods all while charging zero deposit fees. As it stands users can make deposits into their account using:
Your processing times for all credit/debit card deposits are instant as it is with most of the e-wallets as well. You may wait up to 24-hours for a Webmoney or SticPay deposit to clear. Aside from that, you will need to make withdrawals with the same method you used to make a deposit as this helps to prevent any money launder the Easy Markets scam on the platform.
It is always important to know that you can swiftly contact the customer service team on a broker’s platform to help you deal with any queries or problems you have further down the line. Our Easy Markets review found that there were actually a number of different ways for you to get into contact with the support staff over at Easy Markets Australia 24/5.
Users can make use of the seamless live chat feature on the site. This is easily one of the quickest ways for you to have your questions answered and your problems resolved as you will typically be responded to within a couple of minutes. You can also contact their support team via telephone and email as well. What we found interesting was that you can also get help from the support staff via WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook Messenger. This gives you plenty of options to voice your opinions, have your questions answered or have your issues resolved.
Our personal experience contacting the support staff on the site was a positive one. So much so that our Easy Markets ranking reflects as much. We found the technical support team to be very polite and patient with our, at times, trivial questions.
Our broker reviews will never skip over something as important as regulation and trader safety. Our Easy Markets review Australia found that the broker is currently regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Financial Services Authority and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
However, this doesn’t fully answer the question “is Easy Markets safe to use?” as we need to know that there is more user protection on the platform. Easy Markets abides by the regulation that states that user funds need to be kept in a separate trust account. This ensures that Easy Markets will never use your money to cover their own debts in the event of insolvency.
Easy Markets Australia provides its users with over 200+ financial products to choose from that include everything from cryptocurrencies and indices to commodities, shares and metals. You can speculate on the price movements of all of the above by either going long or short with your CFDs.
Your trading costs for CFD trading on the platform is going to vary significantly depending on the markets you trade and the trading platform you use. For example, if you trade CFDs on Dow Jones 30 Index your fixed average spread will be 5.0 per contract. We recommend that you check out the detailed pricing and fees page over at Easy Markets Australia as you can see clearly what each CFD market is going to set you back in terms of the fixed spreads.
If you want to trade on the leverage you can do so with CFD trading at Easy Markets Australia. However, your leverage cap will vary from market to market. For example, your maximum leverage on a commodity like oil is 10:1 where your leverage for 1 Tesla share is 1:5. Again, all of this information is as clear as day on the site so Easy Markets Australia won’t be trying to trip you up on your trading conditions whatsoever.
With over 200+ financial products to trade via CFDs, it’s easy to see why so many traders have turned to Easy Markets Australia for their CFD trading needs. We were pleased to see such reasonable fixed spreads on everything from commodities to shares.
Our Easy Markets review Australia found that there were 6 different crypt markets for you to trade with via CFDs. This means that you won’t actually own the underlying crypto asset but rather that you can speculate on the price movements by going long or short with a CFD trade. The cryptos on offer include:
The trading costs for your CFD crypto trades are fairly straightforward. For example, 1 Bitcoin is equal to 1 CFD contract with spreads starting from $60 with a pip value of 0.01. If you want to trade Ethereum, your spread starts from $3.5 and has a 0.01 pip value. You can check out the rest of the options under “cryptocurrencies” on the Easy Markets Australia site.
Your trading conditions for crypto trading see you limited to a maximum leverage cap of 2:1. Cryptocurrencies are notoriously volatile so this is arguably more in your interest than it is in the broker’s. Your minimum contract size will vary from crypto to crypt. For Bitcoin, your minimum contract is 0.25 Bitcoin, 1 Ethereum, 500 Ripple, 0.5 Litecoin, 0.5 Bitcoin Cash and 500 Stellar.
In comparison to other brokers, we are actually pretty happy with the selection of cryptos we found on the Easy Markets Australia platform. While you may only be able to trade them via CFDs the spreads are more than fair, as are the maximum leverage caps.
Our Easy Markets will shed some light on the available account types on the site. You’ll have a clear idea of the accounts available, what each account provides you with and what some of the account fees are.
Having an excellent desktop version of a site is one thing but in today’s day and age, users need to be able to access their trades on the go. That is why our Easy Markets review takes a closer look at the overall quality of the mobile version of the site.
There is nothing better than being able to take a broker’s platform for a test drive before you actually open your account. Our Easy Markets review will inform you about any possibilities for you to open a demo account with the broker first.
Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the platform that Easy Markets Australia has put together. There is an exceptional number of financial products to trade with all of which have spreads and fees that we found to be on par with industry standards. What we loved most about the site was how well it was laid out. You can easily locate all the detailed spreads, payment methods and available markets with ease.
While we absolutely loved conducting our Easy Markets review Australia, there is every chance that this broker didn’t hit the right notes for you personally. If that is the case, we recommend checking out our TradeDirect365 review or our St George Directshares review.
