Bonus Offers - Pitiful lack of bonuses on offer

One thing that will become abundantly clear over the course of this 5Dimes review is why we do not recommend this bookmaker and why it is blacklisted by us. For starters, there’s no 5Dimes sign up bonus, although there are several 5Dimes deposit bonus options. Is 5Dimes legit overall? Absolutely not, from the licensing issues to customer reviews and the lack of welcome bonus, it’s clear that you should avoid this site.

The lack of 5Dimes sign up bonus shows that this site just isn’t worth it.

There are some other deals that promise a lot, but deliver nothing. These include the Reduced Juice Reward and the 30% Super Saver Reward: another offer aimed at providing greater payouts. The Point Mover Special allows you to move lines in your favor, but they simply aren’t worth your while.

Avoid any 5Dimes Deposit Promotions

Now onto what can be considered 5Dimes deposit bonus offers. There’s up to $500 free-play rewards up to 20% of the reload account. This is naturally based on how much you have deposited and wagered. However there have been several reported issues regarding 5Dimes deposits and we therefore don’t recommend putting your money into 5Dimes. All of this is just intended as an overview, so, as always, check out the terms and conditions yourself to get a full understanding of the promotional details.

The 5Dimes sign up bonus is, indeed, not what we expected at all and should not be claimed at any point.  In what we think looks likely to become a bit of a theme with this 5Dimes sportsbook review, you’ll discover why we don’t recommend this operator and why we blacklisted it.

Usability, Look & Feel - Badly designed gambling site

If the lack of a 5Dimes sign up bonus didn’t clue you in to the lameness of this site, then just take a look at the pitiful site design. The brand has been online since 1996 and although it doesn’t look that old, it’s also clear it has no interest in following design trends either. Some people will love this stripped-back look but we think it looks dated.

You might think that this simplistic, fuss-free approach pays dividends from a structural point of view. But it’s almost impossible to imagine anyone liking what they see at 5Dimes as it looks more than a little old fashioned in places, and it doesn’t stop there.

We experienced slowdowns, buffering issues and broken links, twinned with a poor service overall. Getting a 5Dimes deposit bonus is not recommended due to the impossible banking process that has lead to many customers reporting money losses. The same goes for the mobile app which just doesn’t do the job.

Payments - Don't make deposits at 5Dimes

You shouldn’t give your money to 5Dimes as this site cannot be trusted. This is despite the brand looking like it gives you safe ways to add money to your account. After all, there are five key deposit methods available at 5Dimes which include debit card, credit card, person-to-person, cashier check, bank wire and Bitcoin. The fact that it takes Bitcoin is a bit of a red flag as it indicates that most US banks won’t go anywhere near 5Dimes. The brand doesn’t do 5Dimes deposit bonus offers in a way you’d expect – with no 5Dimes sign up bonus.

We don’t recommend making a deposit with 5Dimes as there have been problems reported in the past.

One thing that made our job in answering “is 5Dimes legit?” easier is the fact that so many other betting fans have complained about how bad this site is. Our 5Dimes review found that there have been deposit issues reported by many customers, with money being withheld and customer service being unable or unwilling to help. As a result, 5Dimes has been blacklisted globally.

Here are some more reasons why 5Dimes sucks: Rates must be requested by live chat and fees can vary. Cashier check comes with a $40-$80 withdrawal fee and there’s no set time. The same is the case for Cash Wire Payouts, which comes with an $80 fee. Bitcoin transaction times naturally vary, depending on the blockchain. There’s no deposit fee, but a 3% withdrawal fee. Once again, it’s a bad result for our 5Dimes review, but we don’t recommend it at all.

Customer Service - Poor customer support

We mentioned in the last part of our 5Dimes review that one of the key features of this operator is how poor its customer service is in relation to deposit and withdrawals. At the end of the day, just don’t use them at all to avoid all potential issues. After all, if you can’t get in touch with customer support, it doesn’t bode well for the whole gambling site.

License & Security - Illegal gambling site not to be trusted

Our 5Dimes review found that this site is based in Costa Rica and it is only licensed and regulated in that nation. This means absolutely nothing for Canadian customers as you won’t get any protection should something go wrong with your wagering. We should note that this level of licensing is fairly substandard compared to other online gambling licenses. This is just a small part of the reason why we don’t recommend this site.

Above all, 5Dimes looks and behaves like any other offshore gambling site. These all tend to be based in places like Costa Rica as they are acting outside of the gambling laws of the countries that they are targeted at. This means that there’s nothing to stop 5Dimes from vanishing with your deposits or refusing to pay out whatever winnings you’ve made.

In terms of security, there have been numerous failings and reported problems of hacking. Again, just another reason why you should avoid this operator at all costs.

Rewards & Loyalty Program - No rewards at 5Dimes

Pretty much all the promotions we’ve discussed already in this 5Dimes review pretend to reward players in some way – although the truth is quite the opposite.

In fact, we’d say that 5Dimes has much less of a focus on things competing with the  Casino Dingo welcome offer, for instance and instead looks to rip off its customers with a range of deals that are equally bad. The reports and reviews from 5Dimes customers suggest that they are not actually receiving any of the so-called rewards from this operator. So, once again, we urge you not to get involved with 5Dimes.

5Dimes Sports Betting

Betting Markets - Only here to rip you off

We thought the reason 5Dimes may lack so many design flourishes is that they have to make room for multiple betting markets. However, it turns out that they simply can’t be bothered to keep their website or mobile apps updated and functional. What betting markets there are only seem to be there to give the sportsbook more ways to rip you off. Very poor and disappointing performance all round!

Odds - Barely competitive odds

The odds at 5Dimes naturally depend on the individual market, however, we can say they’re barely competitive during the tests we conducted for this 5Dimes sportsbook review. Not only that, but the fact that you’re unlikely to receive your winnings makes these lacklustre odds even more depressing.

Live Betting & Streaming - Dismal live betting platform

Although 5Dimes offers live betting, they haven’t bothered to invest in live streaming. Considering the overall quality of this site and the numerous complaints about it, that’s probably not a bad thing – and yet another reason for us to tell you to avoid this site!

Limits - Don't expected high winnings at 5Dimes

The minimum you can wager is 50c and the maximum is $5,000. What they don’t mention is that your winnings will be capped at $5,000 per day and that withdrawals will cost you between $40 and $80 each time, which is hardly playing fair in our eyes.

Conclusion - Avoid this online sportsbook

5Dimes has been around for over two decades largely off the back of its sportsbook, but it’s hard to see why. There are so many failings to report that we decided the best thing we could do was to blacklist this operator. Avoid this betting site!

5Dimes Casino

Software - Glitchy gaming interface

Over 5Dimes review found that the operator has some confusing software, as the casino is split into different sections like Gold and Jackpot. To pull this off, they’ve enlistedA feeble selection of software developers.

The basic fact is that there are barely any games from the top software developers represented on this site. Add to that the fact that half the games don’t load or play, then frankly you’re wasting your time even looking.

Game Portfolio - Feeble selection of casino games

Does that wide array of software developers get the job done? To put it simply, NO! After all, you can get a much better choice of casino games at any of our recommended operators. As previously mentioned – quality, gameplay and a lack of security on this site makes it a major no-go area.

Live Casino - Poor variety of live dealer games

5Dimes might well boast two live casinos, but they are rarely available and the gameplay quality is terrible when they are – best avoided!

Limits - More reasons to avoid 5Dimes

Unlike the sports limits, there are no set limits for any of the casino products. However, when you consider that your winnings will be capped and withdrawals will cost anything up to $80 (if you get them at all) the lack of a limit is completely irrelevant here.

Conclusion - Don't play at this scam casino site

5Dimes has once again proven they’re a scam operation. There is no evidence of investment into the casino, inadequate security across the entire site, capped winnings and customer reviews that raise serious concerns on many levels. Our only response to this is to say don’t play at 5Dimes and to tell you that we have blacklisted this operation!

5Dimes Poker

Software - Endlessly buffering poker software

We thought we were done with our 5Dimes review but it turns out 5Dimes also has a poker page and software. Is it playing with a full deck? No! Let’s find out why:

Here’s what 5Dimes say:

“The free to download software allows you to play Grand Poker for free on Windows and iOS devices. It’s available in a wide variety of languages. You can play for free to hone your skills and they boast complete access to great customer service as well as fast cashouts.”

Here’s the reality:

The apps are inadequate and games constantly buffer. You can’t change the language. Most of the games are not free and have a substantial buy-in fee. You’ll need customer service because there is no such thing as a fast payout on this site – it will cost you money, you’ll wait a long time for your winnings and if reports are to be believed, you’ll be lucky to get them at all.

Our advice – keep away from 5Dimes at all cost!

Game Types & Rake - More information needed at this scam site

We were unable to find rakeback numbers anywhere in the 5Dimes terms and conditions. This is a major failing on the operator’s part and it leads us to believe it is nothing but a scam.

Tournaments - Avoid these poker contests

We could see 23 tournaments available when we reviewed 5Dimes, but based on its performance in all other areas, we strongly suggest you don’t get involved as you’ll probably get ripped off.

Limits - Don't trust this poker platform

In terms of the tournaments we could see, all operated on a no-limit basis. However, capped winnings and lack of reliable payouts makes a mockery of the ‘no-limit’ poker games that 5Dimes consistently push at you.

Conclusion - Don't play poker at 5Dimes

To be honest, we went into this part of our 5Dimes review thinking we might see something better than the sportsbook or casino had to offer, but we were wrong. We can’t find anything positive to report about this entire operation. We have blacklisted 5Dimes poker and strongly suggest that you do too!

5Dimes Review FAQ - Discover the truth about this blacklisted site

✅is 5Dimes legit?

It’s crucial that any operator you register with is legitimate and trustworthy. After all, this is a site where you’ll be inputting personal details and depositing funds. In all our bookmaker reviews, including this analysis of 5Dimes, we check multiple factors, from licensing to reputation and payment methods to encryption technology. Unfortunately, 5Dimes failed to meet our standards in many ways and we have blacklisted this site.

💵Can I withdraw funds from 5Dimes?

No matter how good a betting site is, they’re no use to you if you can’t withdraw your funds. That’s why during all our operator reviews, we check the selection of available deposit and withdrawal methods. We also analyze things like fees, transaction times and reliability so you can deposit and play with confidence. 5Dimes inspired zero confidence, with many reports of withdrawals being withheld and winnings mysteriously disappearing from player accounts, we have no choice but to blacklist 5Dimes and recommend you seek an alternative.

📱Is 5Dimes on mobile?

Nowadays, many people prefer to play on their mobile devices. Therefore, for our operator reviews, we always check whether a betting site is available on the smaller screen, whether that’s through a mobile browser or a dedicated app. We also ensure that there’s no loss in content or quality compared to the desktop version. We were very disappointed that the 5Dimes apps do not function – games do not load and when they do, constantly buffer and crash. Yet another reason to avoid this operator.

Overall Conclusion - Avoid this gambling site!

5Dimes is a scam betting product that should be avoided. From poor customer service to shady licensing and customer reviews, there are numerous reasons why you should avoid 5Dimes today. Instead we recommend using one of the other recommended legit operators from us here at Wetten.com.
