In this Stake.com Crash guide, we’ll teach you everything you need to know about playing this easy yet fun betting game. Additionally, we’ll also cover a few tips and strategies for playing Crash as well.
Our guide has been constructed by experts both at playing the game Crash and the Stake.com platform itself. We are therefore able to give you the best chance of having a fun experience when playing this game. Sounds good? Then let’s get started, shall we?
The most logical place to start any Stake.com Crash guide is naturally to take a look at what the game actually is. Crash is a fun game of chance that is extremely easy to play for casino gamers of all experience levels. It can be very moreish and addictive though, so managing your playing time is definitely key. To date, it is one of the most popular Stake.com games available in 2022.
The rules of Crash and how it is played are both extremely simple. A small rocket icon will start flying across your screen and will travel for a randomised period of time before it crashes. As the player, it is up to you to cash out before the rocket crashes, if you do so, you will win. The amount that you stand to win increases the longer the rocket travels.
Crash also has competitive and interactive elements, as you can see how many other people are playing, what their bets are, and how much they have won or lost in that playing session. There are two ways to play crash – manual and automatic – which we’ll explain for you in more detail below. If you found this explanation useful, then you might want to take a look at our Stake.com Slide guide here at Wetten.com as well.
As mentioned above, there are two ways in which you can bet on each round in a game of Crash – manual and automatic. When playing on manual mode, it is up to you to click and cash out at a time of your choosing while playing. With automatic mode, you pre-select the odds that you want to cash out for each round. Which way is best? There are arguments both for and against both which we will cover later in this Stake.com Crash guide.
When it comes to betting on Crash, you have to act quickly, much the same as in our Stake.com Wheel guide. You have just five seconds in between rounds to place your bet, and if you miss out, you will be frozen out until the following round. Crash rounds have a very quick turnaround though, so there’s no need to panic should you miss out. The choice between manual and automatic mode is made once the round actually begins and there at Stake.com limits that dictate the minimum and maximum amounts that you can wager per round.
The amount that you are paid out when betting on Crash increases the longer the rocket continues to fly before crashing. For example, if you cash out after just one or two seconds, your payout would be extremely low, but the longer you hold out, the more you risk losing your stake altogether. This is essentially what makes Crash both interesting and exciting despite being a simple concept – it’s a game of holding your nerve and risk vs reward.
The payouts are calculated using a multiplier, which is essentially the same as decimal odds. For example, if you have staked C$100 and you cash out at x2.5, then your total payout would be $250, with $150 of that being profit. Remember though, that Stake.com is a crypto casino, and so your stake will likely be in BTC, ETH, or one of the other available cryptocurrencies – there are eight in total as of July 2022.
The payout starts at x1.0 and then increases gradually thereafter, and could effectively go up to amounts as high or x20 or x30. Of course, waiting for a payout that high requires you to really hold your nerve and risk losing your stake altogether. In some ways, some of the advice given in our Stake.com Video Poker guide can also be implemented here, especially when it comes to keeping your cool.
When it comes to playing Crash isn’t really a single strategy that we can point to and say “this one will increase your chances of winning by X amount”. We have to be totally honest here and say that this is a randomised game that is simply won or lost by riding your luck and testing your nerves. This is true to say for an individual round of Crash, but when playing over time, there are few popular strategies that can be deployed. In this section of our Stake.com Crash guide, we’ll take a look at some of these strategies.
This is the most conservative strategy for playing Crash to win and is therefore quite popular. It involves staking the same small amount every time and cashing out at a reasonably low payout so that you can build up your bankroll over time. When using this strategy the automatic cash-out mode is extremely popular as the player can just pre-set the low amount and watch the action unfold.
The downside to this strategy is that it will only either maintain your bankroll or build it up slowly over time, and therefore requires a lot of playing hours to really come good. And of course, there’s still the chance you will lose as well.
This is probably the riskiest strategy found in our Stake.com Crash guide and isn’t recommended as something to do frequently. That’s why it is generally deployed by those who only place Crash for short bursts of time. Crash smash ‘n’ grabbers are those who jump in and try to go for glory by holding out for a big payout. If it doesn’t work after a couple of attempts, you will need to stop playing in order to preserve your bankroll. This is definitely the riskiest Crash strategy and has a low chance of bearing fruit, so it’s not really one that we would recommend.
This classic French betting strategy can be applied to Crash by choosing a predetermined cashout amount and then doubling up on losses and halving on wins. To be honest though, this is a strategy with a short-term vision and actually statistically gives you more chance of merely breaking even than anything else.
This isn’t really a strategy as such and just involves taking advantage of the social element of the game. As we detailed earlier in this Stake.com Crash guide, you can see the betting activities and total wins/losses of other players. Therefore if you notice that a particular player happens to be doing quite well, you can simply mimic their style and see if it works out.
As part of this Stake.com Crash guide, it’s only right that we tell you a little bit about the platform where you’ll be playing the game. Stake.com was founded in 2017 and is one of the world’s leading legit cryptocurrency betting sites in 2022. As well as the online casino – which is where you will find Crash and other games – there is also a fantastic sportsbook. You can read more about this site right here at Wetten.com today.
The key things to take away from our Stake.com Crash Guide are that this is a fun and exciting game of chance. The best approach is to mix and match between holding your nerve and cashing out early in order to reduce the risk whilst also accepting a smaller reward. Just remember that it is a moreish game, so be sure to manage your playing time.
