As the third quarter unfolded, the Nuggets mounted a fierce comeback. A 9-2 run to open the quarter forced the Lakers to call a timeout, and moments later, a layup by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope handed the Nuggets their first lead of the game at 82-81.

Jokić, known for his playmaking skills, delivered an NBA record-breaking eighth triple-double of the playoffs, surpassing Wilt Chamberlain.

Despite tense moments and a back-and-forth battle in the final minutes, the Nuggets showcased their ability to make crucial plays when it mattered most. A key layup by Jokić in traffic with 51.1 seconds left secured a well-deserved victory for the Nuggets.
